The building was constructed in 1900, in the classic Berlin style that was typical at the time. It is made up of a front house, a side house, a garden house, and two courtyards. It was lovingly restored and modernized between 2007 and 2008, and today offers all the modern amenities one would expect, including an elevator. Yet it still maintains its old world, classic features such as stucco elements, high ceilings, double doors, and parquet floorboards.
