Lying between the S-Bahn station Lichtenberg and the Landschaftspark Herzberge, the so-called “Nibelungenviertel” has an exciting history, which is also reflected in the different design approaches and styles. It is a mixture of bustling and relaxed; on one street pretty cafés, on another a new avant-garde art centre. Situated close to the vibrant Friedrichshain and the hip Kreuzberg, it feels like typical Berlin – and yet pleasantly different.
